Terms of service

These Terms set out the rules of the service for the online purchase of a medical insurance policy for Ukraine on ubezpieczenieukraina.pl. By clicking "Confirm and pay", you accept their content.

1. Parties

The service is provided by LLC "WELCOME TO UKRAINE" (the "agent") as the authorised agent of PJSC "EUROINS Ukraine" (the "insurer"). The insurance contract is concluded between the user and the insurer; its general terms and conditions are accepted in the form and available as a PDF before payment.

2. Subject matter

The issue of a medical insurance policy valid on the territory of Ukraine on the Basic plan (insured sum €3,000) or the Extended plan (insured sum €30,000), for the period and the persons specified by the user. The policy meets the insurance requirement for foreign nationals entering Ukraine.

3. Price and payment

  • The price is shown in euro before payment and includes the insurance premium and the agent's service fee of 8%. The agent charges no other fees.
  • Card payment is made via the WayForPay gateway. The agent has no access to card details.
  • The card-issuing bank may charge its own fee for a foreign transaction, independent of the agent.

4. Issue and delivery

After payment the insurer issues the policy and sends it as a PDF to the e-mail address provided, usually within 5 minutes. The document can also be downloaded on the confirmation page. The policy is valid in electronic form; printing is not required.

5. User obligations

  • Providing details exactly as in the passport, in the Latin alphabet.
  • Specifying an entry date and a number of days covering the entire planned stay.
  • Reading the terms of the insurance contract and the exclusions before payment.

The agent is not liable for refusal of entry or refusal of benefits caused by incorrect details or by dates that do not cover the actual stay.

6. Withdrawal and cancellation

A policy can be cancelled with a full refund before the cover start date, in accordance with the refund policy. Once cover has started, the service has been fully performed and the right of withdrawal does not apply under Article 38(1) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014, to which the user consents in the form.

7. Insured events

Medical assistance is obtained by calling the 24-hour number stated in the policy. The scope, exclusions, deductibles and the procedure for reimbursement of costs follow from the contract with the insurer. The agent assists with communication but does not decide on benefits.

8. Liability

The agent's liability is limited to the amount of the service fee collected. The agent is not liable for the security situation in Ukraine or for changes to entry conditions.

9. Complaints and governing law

Complaints concerning the agent's service should be sent to info@insuranceforvisitukraine.com; we reply within 14 days. Complaints concerning the insurance contract are handled by the insurer, and the supervisory authority is the National Bank of Ukraine. For consumers residing in Poland, these Terms are interpreted in accordance with Polish consumer law. Consumers may use the ODR (online dispute resolution) platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
